US forces made great use of .30 calibre machine guns throughout WWII, and the Airborne were no exception. These portable, rapid-firing weapons were a potent force multiplier for paratroopers in need of fire support as soon as they landed, and formed an essential component of Airborne units throughout the war.

Medium machine gun teams are the backbone of Heavy Weapons Platoons in Bolt Action. Able to lay down lethal anti-infantry fire, they’re perfect defensive weapons and a great way to control the tabletop. This 3-man team, cast in finely detailed Warlord Resin, wear the iconic M42 jump uniform made famous by American paratroopers on D-Day, and are ready to bring their Browning .30cal to bear on the enemy.
